Crystal Ridge at Providence Stud was founded by Melise Etheridge in 1993. Melise is a Level 3 Riding Instructor, jumped as an A Grade (Open Class) rider and is renowned for her loving, stress-free schooling technique and horsemanship.
Crystal Ridge Equestrian offers our riders beautiful grounds, spacious parking, vibrant staff and neat facilities. Along with that, we also offer our clinic-stable and solarium, lock-up tack room, wash-bay, dressage arena, schooling arena, show arena and lunge ring. Our large paddocks insure that our horses socialize, but smaller paddocks are also available for single horses. Providence Stud is a tremendous driving force of our stable yard, which means we also have stallion facilities and brood mare stables available.
At the heart of the yard is our highly qualified instructors who teach showjumping, dressage, working riding and vaulting at all levels of riding and we have had outstanding results from all our riders competing in SASJ, DSA, SANESA, and other competitive disciplines. At the core of our instructors’ mission, lies our commitment to providing an engaging, respectful and rewarding learning environment.
