Crystal Ridge Equestrian
Our story
Crystal Ridge At Providence Stud, is a competitive and recreational equestrian centre based in Benoni. We pride ourselves on our family friendly atmosphere.
Melise Etheridge established the Equestrian Business in1993 and is the yard owner, head instructor, coach and lecturer. Being qualified in Equine science, Sports and Recreation, FEI and EQASA level 3(module 7), 35 years of teaching and having competed at Open Showjumping and Dressage. Melise has immense knowledge in both Horses and the ability to produce both riders and horses at all levels.
Danica Etheridge, her daughter, is Eqasa level 1 (module 5) qualified, currently competes in Open Showjumping and is brilliant at producing horses and young riders.
The yard offers outstanding 5-star facilities and we also host frequent shows, including our Equestrian Excellence Series.
Crystal Ridge boasts of 33 years of great memories and has been the home of many great, successful horses and riders of all ages and levels.
